A NEW look North Tawton Ladies team finally got to take to the pitch at Taw Meadow on Sunday. Despite having trained since August fixtures have been a little sporadic so this was the first time captain Jo McBain had had to see how the new recruits would slot into the team.

On a firm, wide pitch North Tawton soon took control using their usual style of passing out wide to put the speedsters into space. It took little time for the team to gel with normal service being resumed with the first try run in by Hayley Hopkins. Seventeen more tries followed either side of the break with conversions being slotted over by captain Jo McBain.
