Tavistock's Squash's second team enjoyed a 3-2 win Virgin Active 3 in the Plymouth Squash League.

Tavistock were represented by Richard Baxter, Joe Kuipers, Richard Davies, Matt Smith and Steve Luxton.

Steve Luxton got things off to a great start with a 3-2 win in a close and hard fought match. Matt Smith found he could not get going and his opponent's style and movement around the court proved too much and he lost 0-3. Richard Davies was in another tight game with neither player really taking command, but after making too many unforced errors, he went on to lose 2-3.

Joe Kuipers, up against a decent player, found the right game to win 3-1 with some great squash. Richard Baxter playing an opponent with a similar style ended up in another closely fought tight game and gave it everything to win the decider to give the match to Tavistock.

Man of the match was Joe Kuipers for an excellent game of controlled squash.
