NINETEEN keen and motivated Tavistock Athletic Club runners headed for Yelverton on Sunday to take part in the annual six Moor Miles Race hosted by Plymouth Harriers. Fortunately, the weather was a little cooler than the high twenties West Devon has been experiencing lately and Alice Rogers was the first TAC?lady home; Charlie Lloyd first male 50 and Allan Herdman first male 60. The icing on the cake was the presentation made to James Best, Alice Rogers, Charlie Lloyd, Richard Best, Allan Herdman and Sam Lloyd (pictured right) for being the quickest club team over the tough, undulating moor terrain. It was a very successful outing for Team TAC.
