Devon seconds E (West)

Plymstock thirds v Whitchurch seconds

Plymstock thirds were simply too strong for Whitchurch seconds. Batting first, they amassed an imposing 234-4 off their allotted overs.

Baker (91) fell just short of a well deserved ton. His 135-run fourth wicket partnership with Collings (54no) knocked the heart out of the Whitchurch bowling.

Ben Hodge bowled tidily in the middle of the innings, conceding only 36 runs off his allotted nine overs.

The Whitchurch reply could not deal with the Plymstock bowling and Colquoun (4-41) made the traffic pretty well all one way.

Josh Meadows (24) was a highlight, hitting six straight boundaries standing on one foot as he had broken a toe the previous evening.

Bob Powell (67) and Tamblin (25no) repaired some of the damage and salvaged a couple of batting points.
