SAM Lake, representing Tavistock Athletic Club, could not escape the harsh elements, which included severely flooded roads, strong winds and heavy rain, that plagued the Treggy7. The race is organised by Launceston Road Runners.

Despite the challenges, Sam managed to secure third place woman overall and first place in her age category in a time of 46:43. She was third out of 225 women and 35th out of 461 people.
