ATHLETES in West Devon are wanted to sign up for the Marie Curie Daffodil runs team at this year's Plymouth Half Marathon.

Marie Curie Cancer Care are looking for sponsored runners - all money raised by the Daffodil runners will help support the Marie Curie nursing service in Tavistock and the surrounding areas, caring for patients in the comfort of their own home.

The half marathon takes place on Sunday, April 28, runners for the charity will get a welcome pack including NIKE hi-tech running vest and welcome pack including sponsorship and fundraising material.

On the day there will be cheer stations along the route and a dedicated Marie Curie Stall for you to come along to after your run to collect certificate and refreshments!
