IT is not too late to join in the Tavy 13 that takes place on Sunday, March 30.

Runners from across the UK will focus on  Dartmoor's premier half marathon.

This prestigious event, organised by Tavistock Athletic Club and sponsored by estate agents Gibbs Kirby, will see runners transcend Plymouth Road, through Bedford Square, along Duke St, Brook Street, Parkwood Road, out past Kelly College to Wilminstone before returning back to town via the railway track/Old Exeter Road. They then pass the council offices along to Crease Lane before heading down to Mill Hill, up to Chipshop, turn left through Gulworthy, out to Orestocks, Bere Alston, returning along Crowndale Road and back to Tavistock. Altogether the run offers just more than 13 miles of undulating Devon scenery at its finest.
