TAVISTOCK’S first team must have been disappointed with this away defeat to the city side.

The hosts opened the scoring with a try by their number eight, Tom Holliday.

However, the visitors fought back and were soon rewarded with a try of their own from Callum Thompson; Ewan Smith duly converted.

Tavistock though went into the break behind, thanks to a try from Argaum’s Joe Avazian.

There were more tries for Plymouth in the second half from James and Bloomfield with a conversion and a penalty added by Richards.
