TAVISTOCK were left stuck in a relegation scrap after Plymstock Albion Oaks took control of this match in the second half.

There was no score in the opening 40, with Tavistock looking good in the backs and the Oaks dominating the forward battles.

Oaks opened the scoring with a penalty by player-coach and former Tavistock player Richard Goldsby-West. A converted try and drop goal by Goldsby-West took the score to 13-0. Tavistock were still fighting but a lengthy injury to Charlie Charlton drained their remaining enthusiasm and two more tries ended the game as a contest.

Tavistock are away to Bodmin on Easter Saturday.
