TAVISTOCK took an early lead with a try from Brandon, however, this was

short lived with OPM scored shortly after.

The home team looked in good form though, using the down hill advantage to maintain the attacking pressure.

A great pass from Dylan for Tavistock found Luke on the wing, who was unlucky to be pushed into touch inches from the tryline. Both Brandon and Matthew suffered similar fates, nearly reaching the tryline before being thwarted by the visitors’ defence.

The first half ended level pegging and things stayed fairly even into the second half. OPM notching up another try, before  Luke leveling the score a few minutes later.

There was some great tackling from Callum , Ryan, Sam and newcomer Josh , but overall Tavistock’s flimsy defence and weakness in the ruck proved costly . The visiting team started to rack up more tries against a seemingly defenceless Tavistock.

Time and again the lack of passing  meant losing possession which OPM capitalised on.

What started as an even match ended very much in the opposition’s favour.
