THE frustration continues for Tavistock as they came out second best despite a sterling effort against a team at the other end of the league table.

In poor conditions at Sandy Park, Truro registered a narrow victory over lowly Tavistock and, in consequence, returned to the top on the league. Still chasing their first win of the season the hosts managed to score two tries thanks to Tom Pearson and Jack Glover.

Despite this, plus some fine spirited play throughout, Tavistock were unable to register the victory which they crave, largely due to two late penalties from Ashley Hocking.
