AN Adam Williams try gave Tavistock encouragement as the first half ended 5-5 but it was a tougher task for the home side in the second half.

Bodmin perservered and eventually managed to pierce the stubborn Moorlanders’ defence. A consolation try by Shane Long for Tavistock was not enough to beat the Cornish visitors but it did enough to earn a bonus point to keep them out of the bottom three in the league.
