TEN year-old Ruby Stacey from Tavistock competed in the South West Age Groups gymnastics competition in Melksham, Wiltshire.

Ruby, a pupil at Mary Tavy and Brentor School, performed confidently on the four pieces of apparatus to win herself a place in the national finals in Guildford this month.  Her clean routines were rewarded with three gold medals, one silver medal and overall champion.
