MOUNT Kelly pool manager and triathlon coach, Liz Vernon, took part in the recent Roadford Triathlon.  

Two of her triathletes, Phoebe Lloyd-Evans and Victoria Moore, both of Mount Kelly,  did her proud in the sprint version on the same day, placing first and second in their age group.

Liz tackled the longer Olympic distance triathlon with a 1500m swim, 40k bike and 10k run.  

Third woman overall, Liz also took top prize in her age group and has now received her trophy plus a cheque for her endeavours.
