Tavistock ladies 10
Camborne School of Mines ladies 1
TAVISTOCK ladies ended the season on a high with a convincing win over the Camborne School of Mines.
It took the Tavistock ladies some time to get the ball between the posts with lots of attempts going wide or being saved by the Camborne keeper. However, Abi Hall opened the scoring for the home side with a swipe in on the left post. Mills Hicks, Armstrong, Honey and Colwill continued to feed strong balls in to the attacking line which paid off with Becca Martin, Jo Gaspar, Emma White and Robynne Honey all getting goals for the homeside.
The Tavistock defence were tested at several points with Camborne determined to keep fighting, they were rewarded with one goal against the Tavistock eleven.
After more dominant play from Tavistock, several more goals and a relaxed enjoyment in the final minutes the final score reflected this at 10-1.
Tavistock have their deserved promotion to South Division and thank all of their supporters and the umpires who have officiated for them throughout the season.
