TAVISTOCK Reserves came out of the blocks firing against a spirited Lanreath side.

An own goal by a visiting defender started proceedings following a Craig Holt corner. Another corner, this time by Keith Hatch led to Christian Evans making it two before Lanreath hit back to make it 2-1 to the town team at half-time.

After the interval a 30 yarder from Mark Solomon increased the lead before Lanreath again pulled back.

However Craig Holt extended the lead for Tavistock before a brace from Shepherd wrapped up proceedings.
