THE hockey season starts in Okehampton this weekend with a club day to which all players are invited.

The men will be on the pitch from 11am until 1pm and the ladies from 2.30pm until 4pm. Pre-season friendly games start the following week, and the junior sessions will be begin on September 14. New players and umpires will be most welcome to come along and join in.

The new pavilion will also be open for refreshments.
