SALTASH.net hosted the Caradon Primary School Games this week with six East Cornwall primary schools taking part, including Callington.

More than 100 pupils took part in either quad kids (athletics), basketball, golf, hockey or tennis.

The School Games organiser for the East Cornwall area, Julie Ponting, congratulated all the students that took part in the games.

She praised their determination, competitiveness and sportsmanship that they demonstrated during the games.

Julie congratulated and wished good luck to all those qualifying schools who will now represent East Cornwall at the Cornwall School Games in July including Callington at hockey, Stoke Climsland in the High Five netball and St Dominic in tag rugby.
