North Devon A 0

OKEHAMPTON scored after five minutes when Stuart Jarvis again providing width and speed scored the first goal ably assisted by Ed Howard. Despite pressure from Oke they were only one goal ahead at half time. The second half started much as the first with Oke piling on the pressure to soon score a second goal from Simon Bourne who got onto the end of a Rowan Perrior cross.

North Devon put more pressure on the visitors but with John getting everything behind the ball, Zac Middleton strong in his tackles and Mike with his dogged determination and strength the defence was steadfast. The midfield also held strong with Mark Bingham supplying some good balls into the circle and Ed Howard playing a cool unflustered game in the centre, making some good passes while Hayden Bond made one superb save in particular.

Okehampton pressed hard again, Brett Lawson made several runs into the circle and came close to scoring. Half way through the half Simon Bourne got on the end of another cross by Rowan Perrior to score the third goal. Sub Martin Jones played with his usual strength speed and tenacity winning many tackles.

Towards the end North Devon had another attack in which they managed to get round the keeper to nearly slot the ball into the net, but man of the match Tim Morgan was there to clear the ball off the line.

n Okehampton are home to Mid Somerset at the weekend.
