EIGHTEEN athletes from the prep school at Mount Kelly enjoyed a successful day of athletics at King’s College, Taunton, on May 14.

Seven schools took part and Mount Kelly came away with three gold, 13 silver and six bronze medals. 

Gold medals: Jed Hutchings – U12 high jump and U12 600m, Christopher Woolley open triple jump.

Silver medals: James Lamb – open high jump and open 800m Rory Summers – U12 80m and U12 long jump Rufus Keay – open 100m India Semmence – U10 rounders ball throw, U10 60m and U10 long jump Harry Prettejohn – U10 60m and U10 long jump Matilda Kurzman – U12 high jump Christopher Woolley – open 300m Isabel Sheil, Bethan Rees, Annabelle Hess and Olivia Penna – open girls 4x100m relay.

Bronze medals: Olivia Penna – open shot Thomas Cockroft – open javelin Tadhg O’Neill – open 75m hurdles Bartholomew Grainger – U12 150m Finlay Barker – open 200m Finlay Barker, James Lamb, Christopher Woolley and Rufus Keay – open boys 4x100m relay.
