TAVISTOCK started the game strongly with some quick pressure which allowed Tavistock to create early chances and pressure.

This continued throughout the first half and with good movement in the centre between Phil Honey, Nick Aveyard and Dave Anning. However Tavistock were caught on the break by the Plymouth side against the run of play on the stroke of half-time.

Tavistock started the second half in the same was as they began the first, with quick passing from Jake Doney and Luke Daniels and good movement of the ball from the back by Bob Cowen, Mark Tosdevin and Neil Bradley.

The visitors Tavistock, were creating chances and playing good hockey, with Adam Hext and James Alford making good runs down the left and right. However, Tavistock conceded a goal from a scrappy corner.

Midway through the second half, Chris Cowen was sidelined for ten minutes, during which Tavistock were unlucky to concede a third.

The final minutes of the game, with Tavistock back to 11 men saw Tavistock dominated more position, but many chances went begging.

This was certainly not one of the Tavistock A's best performances, but positives can still be taken from the game.

Tavistock man of the match was Luke Daniels.
