THE Lamerton Point to Point will be held at Kilworthy, Tavistock, on Sunday (March 23). Kilworthy is on the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road and the course will be clearly signposted.

The course is in excellent condition and several fences have been rebuilt and organisers are expecting excellent racing and jumping. There are a good number of declared runners and the maiden race has been split, giving seven races that are scheduled with the first starting at 1pm.

The Confined Maiden race division one has been renamed the Yvonne Watson Memorial Cup in memory of Yvonne who died last month and who has won several races at Kilworthy.

Many leading point to point owners are entered and as last year's racing was cancelled due to the dreadful weather we are hoping for exciting and thrilling finishes.

Kilworthy remains an excellent viewing course for spectators and, together with trade stands, hot and cold refreshments and bar it continues to be an exciting day out for all the family. Road access has been improved and entry is £10 for a car and driver and £5 for any other passengers.
