MORE than 90 girls and boys participated at Parklands in the Okehampton area Indoor Sportshall Athletics.

Children from Boasley Cross , Highampton Exbourne, South Tawton, North Tawton, and Okehampton Schools competed.

Stuart Lord from OCRA said: ’All the children participate in different runs, throws, variety oft jumps and an obstacle race — so it’s a very active experience for all. There was a great atmosphere with the children cheering on each other.

The winners were Okehampton School, second South Tawton and third North Tawton.

The top six teams now go on to the West Devon final.
