KELLY College's Westall Centre held its final event of the year, the GB Swimstars' photography exhibition.
In co-operation with Kelly Swimming, the centre hosted large crowds who enjoyed a stunning variety of photographs, many of which were captured entirely underwater.
The exhibition used photographs taken by GB Swimstars' founder, Simon Wright, and focused on the Kelly Swim Squad. It offered a unique chance to see the swimming squad as they have never been seen before.
GB Swimstars, which began in 2009, is a voluntary project that promotes British swimming and specializes in photographing aquatic sports; it has now become one of the largest online collections of aquatic sports images. It aims to capture powerful, memorable photographs that will help promote the up and coming stars that may feature in the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brazil.
In addition an accompanying Christmas Fayre provided festive appeal. On offer at the fayre were some festive treats such as fudge, mince pies and mulled wine. Christmas decorations, jewellery and stocking fillers also proved an attraction.
Kelly College artist in residence, Alex McCarthy also had a stall selling his popular ceramics.
