TEN athletes from Tavistock Athletic Club juniors went to Dawlish in South Devon for the final sportshall meeting of the season.

There were some great performances with several personal bests being broken once again. Jake Walker won his heat in the four lap race despite turning awkwardly and injuring his heel.

With it being the end of the season the overall winners of each event were presented with their trophies and Tavistock did not disappoint.

Emma Ryder excelled in the U15 girls with two firsts and a second place while Jodie Stacey won the speed bounce category. Josh Davies secured a second and third place in his first season and is an exciting prospect for the future.

Jenny Milburn had a second and third place finish in the U13s girls. Tayla James medalled in all three of her disciplines picking up a first and two thirds in the U11 girls.

With the U11 girls also finishing third overall in the relay it has been a successful winter and with the track and field season about to start it promises to be a great 2014 for all TAC Juniors.
