OKEHAMPTON Ladies Hockey Club hosted their third successful tournament at the weekend.
Six teams took part; Tavistock, Launceston, Exe, ISCA and two teams from the home side, Okehampton and Columbines.
For many it was a great opportunity to play again as a team after the summer break and experience the new rules ahead of the forthcoming league season.
Despite the good spirits there was a trophy to be won and each team displayed grit and determination to try and win it. In glorious sunshine with many having a well deserved ice cream between matches, ISCA emerged as winners with the highest points total, Launceston finishing a close second.
The club expressed thanks to event organiser Louise Weller, the players and umpires, it proved yet again to be a very enjoyable day of hockey.
