OKEHAMPTON Argyle U8s have now stretched their unbeaten run to 16 games after the second rounds of matches at Cheriton Fiztpaine.

Argyle started brightly with some superb passing and interplay but their constant attacks could not penetrate a stubborn Moors defence. However a bright piece of quick passing football and a strong shot from an Oke player caused a slice clearance into his own net by a Moors player for the the only goal.

AGAINST a much improved Crediton the Okehampton side tried everything they could but could not find that elusive goal to give them the victory in a game they never looked like losing.

ARGYLE'S Zak spears was the first to score with a neat finish before Harry Camies with a bit of trickery and a cool finish scored the second.

A third from Connor Madge ended the Moors resistance.

AGAINST the host side Okehampton piled on the pressure until Connor Madge broke the deadlock.

The team, who are now unbeaten in 20 games owe much to some outstanding defending from Kieran, Ethan, Cowan, Mari, Harry P, Ben and Luka.
