Bude A 0

TAVISTOCK men's first hockey team's rich vein of form continued on Saturday as they travelled away to Bude, putting in another fine display of flowing hockey that the spectators certainly found easy on the eye.

The opening goal came from a nicely worked piece from Fenwick who drove the baseline dynamically to put the ball on a plate for Honey to emphatically drill the ball into the backboard.

This was followed by high levels of possession for Tavistock although the home side frustrated the travelling team with some stubborn defending.

It was however not enough and soon Fenwick popped up with a piece of individual brilliance from a set piece to add another goal to Tavistock's lead. This paved the way for more goals from Andy Rose and Ollie Richards who increased Tavistock's already healthy lead.

The second half saw much of the same from Tavistock with some good pressing play from the forwards, forcing Bude to make mistakes which Tavistock capitalised on with no mercy.

Further goals from Honey, Fenwick and Bayliss sealed the victory against their weary opposition and places them in second position.
