'TRY and try again' was certainly a motto that could be associated with the youngsters West Devon Nippers Rugby.

Thirty-five youngsters from classes in Tavistock, Bere Alston, Lamerton and Launceston received certificates as reward for their efforts from head coach and experienced rugby player David Briggs, a teacher at Kelly College Preparatory School in Tavistock.

Nippers Rugby is a fun non contact sports class for children from 2-6yrs old, based on rugby union.

David said: 'I am very pleased with the level of support and praise I have received from the parents of the children and have doubled the amount of classes due to its popularity.'
