IN the Lamerton and District Darts League members gave their great thanks and appreciation to Mrs Pote for kindly donating a trophy for the Summer League KO cup, which has been named in honour of the late John (Eggy) Pote.

Lesley Wilgar, on behalf of the league, said: ‘It is very much appreciated and will be treated with the respect it is owed.’

It was presented by Mrs Pote for the first time to this year’s winners, Red and Black.
