ON Sunday Nathan Newton from Bere Alston took part in the Wadebridge Triathlon.

The triathlon, which was the first in the Cornwall Tri Series, was a sprint distance. This consisted of a 400m pool swim, a 24km cycle and a 5k run to finish. Nathan finished 17th overall in a time of 1 hour 10 minutes 55 seconds.
