ELEANOR Smith, Hattie Heal, Daisy Heal and Alexander Smith from Tavistock competed in the Zonal Schools’ Trampoline competition in Kent.

The Mount Kelly team were competing against schools in the South West, South East, South and London.

Daisy won individual gold while Eleanor, Daisy and Hattie won team silver in the U11 girls’ novice category. Alexander narrowly missed out on qualifying but gave a commendable performance coming fourth in the U14 boys’ novice category. The girls’ team has progressed through to the national finals which take place in Wigan in March. 

Trampoline coach Anne Dodds and team manager Jacqueline Smith are looking forward to preparing the team for the big event.
