MOUNT Kelly had seven swimmers representing the South West Division of the English Schools at the English Schools Inter-Divisional National Swimming Championships in Leeds. 

The South West team came fourth overall which resulted in them winning the trophy for the most improved division.   Oliver Taverner, Eddie Maddocks and Thomas Brew also helped to bring back in the intermediate boys the South West Trophy.

Gold medallists and National Schools champions were Ben Staig 100 breaststroke (56.88), Jack Plummer 200 IM (2.21.13), Ollie Taverner 4x100 Med relay (67.28), Tom Brew 4x100 front crawl relay (56.10) and Eddie Maddocks 4x100 front crawl relay (55.29). There were two silver medallists — Jack Plummer 400 IM (5.06.37), Georgina Dennis 4x100 IM relay (61.23). The five bronze medals were won by Georgina Dennis 100 FC (61.40), Ollie Taverner 100 and 200 BR (67.70 and 2.26.49), Kaylee Dekker 200 fly (2.25.99), Eddie Maddocks 100 FC (54.87)
