The Mount House School first VII completed an excellent rugby seven-a-side season by winning the Mount House Sevens Tournament, scoring 26 tries without conceding any.

There were pool victories for Mount House against Tavistock (26-0); West Buckland (33-0) and Plymouth College B (36-0). In the semi-finals against Shebbear in the cup competition they won 38-0. In the final against West Buckland once Wilf Hadow and then Will Partington had broken through to score, the outcome was never in doubt. A fine try by Finlay Rose sealed another trophy by 38 points to nil.

The hosts' second VII found the going a little harder, losing to Plymouth A (0-47), and Shebbear (5-17). In semi-final of the Plate against Plymouth B they ran out 29-21 winners through tries from Jack Leigh and Oscar Norris. However they lost 0-27 to Tavistock in the plate final.
