MID Devon Pony Club tetrathletes had a highly successful trip to Liskeard for the East Cornwall Triathlon last Saturday.

Zara Plaskett was one of the younger competitors in biathlon and did well to finish in seventh place. Her sister Casey and Harry Robinson were entered in the 'mixed mini' class and both scored personal bests in the swimming phase, with Casey doing four lengths in the two minute swim. Harry finished fourth in the class and Casey sixth.

In the senior boys, Tom Bayley was in top form, adding 10 metres to his swim personal best and winning the class.

The competition was the last one in the South West's 'Winter League' series which covers all the competitions held through the winter. Competitor's best four totals are added together and the Mid Devon had some great results with Tom coming second in the senior boys while Harry Robinson and Archie Philips came third and fourth respectively in the 9 years and under mixed mini class.
