THREE coaches from the South West Kickboxing Academy (SWKA), went to Martial Arts Seminar Series headquarters Woking in Surrey to join a gathering of more than 111 martial art coaches.

Of those who attended the conference 15 were upgraded.

Third dan Steve Lilley who runs the Tavistock club on a Friday night was one of the officals on the day. Steve was heavily involved in the setting up of semi contact and full contact kickboxing rules and be judging and refereeing in the ring at MASS events later in the year.

Second dan Kieley Evans and first dan Kerry Crowther were attending their first MAAS event and learnt lots about club management and new activities to try.
