SPOONERS and West Dartmoor Hunt held its first Moonlight Steeplechase event at Collytown, Bere Alston, on Saturday, September 6. The event proved a huge success with a crowd of all ages lining the race circuit cheering on their favourite runners — it was an evening enjoyed by all who attended. With all six races well supported, the last having a touch of humour with riders in wigs and fancy dress, made a super ending to a pleasant evening.
