MEMBERS of Lamerton Pony Club had an excellent day at the Four Burrow Pony Club Triathlon held in Truro at the weekend.

With the sun shining, the day produced personal bests for all the Lamerton team members who rode, swam and shot.

In the senior boys, Josh Steven came third, with his sister Yas coming fourth in the junior girls.

The mini girls was won by Lucy Steven with best swim and best run, with Heidi Littlejohns second, Ellen Lawrence third and Emily Pascoe fourth with the best shoot. Martha Miles won the mixed mini class with best shoot and best swim.

The younger members were also in action in the biathlon class (run/swim) with James Crossey second, Phoebe Pascoe 10th and Beth Scobie 12th.
