TAVISTOCK AFC were without a fixture this week and the reserves teams game was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

The first team have a blank Saturday again this week, while the reserves travel to Probus in the Duchy premier with a 2.30pm kick off.

The big match for the Lambs is on Boxing Day in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula league when the first team are home to rivals Launceston, with a 3pm kick-off.

Launceston are third in the league table with the Lambs in fifth position, and only one point separates them.

Derek Pethick, told the Times: 'This should provide a first class afternoon's entertain-ment for all local football fans.
