THE match started as an equal battle between both teams. Exe had the first attempt on goal but that was swiftly dealt with by Sandy Douglas.

However, Alice Wiseman in goal for Okehampton was always ready for any shots that got past her defenders.

The Okehampton midfield of Viv Weatherington, Sophia Marshall and Anna Speak worked tirelessly trying to get the ball up to the attackers Annebelle Rademaker, Emma Wiseman and Alex Collins.

Despite numerous shots in goal Okehampton were unable to secure a goal in the first half.

The second half saw Okehampton come back stronger with Rochelle Woollacott pushing the ball up the pitch to the mid field and then attackers. Although the home team had several short corners during the second they were still denied a goal.

Okehampton played well against a difficult opposition but were unable to break the deadlock.
