KEVIN Marshall had a successful London Marathon in more ways than one. Firstly, he completed it in 3 hours 7 minutes 43 seconds, which means he has another 'good for age' place next year and secondly he has helped raise more than £10,000 for Lifton Community Centre over the past six years.

This year he has raised £1,271 and he wishes to extend his gratitude to every individual, Lifton Village Stores, S T Lane and The South West Lotus Centre for their generous sponsorship.
