KELLY College had 21 Swimmers representing them at the second weekend of the ASA South West Regional Age Group Championships held at Millfield School, Somerset. They enjoyed four championship wins, three silver medals, three bronze and six British Age Group Categories performances.

The girls' 11-14 years 4 x 200m freestyle relay was won by Emily Cutler, Jemma Layden, Cara Layden and Chloe Barrow in a time of 8mins 55.56 secs.

Individual success went to Chloe Barrow who won the 14 year old girls 100m butterfly and 200m butterfly, both in personal best times.

Ben Staig (13) took the boys 100m butterfly, also in a personal best time and was third in the 200m backstroke.

Silver medallists were Emily Cutler(14) in the 200m backstroke. Emily also won the 14 year old girls BAGCATS.

Jake Bentley was second in both the 200m backstroke and 400m freestyle for 13 year old boys and third in the 100m freestyle.

A further bronze medallist was Robyn Edwards in the 14 year old girls 200m backstroke.

BAGCAT winners were: 12 year old boys Tom Harrison sixth 13 year-old boys; Jake Bentley second; 13 year-old girls Cara Layden fifth, and Georgia Martin, sixth, and 14 year old girls Emily Cutler first and Chloe Barrow second.
