AT the Tavistock Golf Club ladies' annual meeting Julie Harding was elected lady captain for 2015. 

'Little did I realise when I joined the club that, one day, I would be lady captain,' said Julie.

'I feel especially honoured because this year is the 125th anniversary of the club. 

'I am really looking forward to this very special year and I am delighted that Gail Reed, my vice captain, will be with me to make it a memorable one.'
