AT the Devon and Exmoor Sheepdog Society trial at Brentor Trial on Saturday there was more success for Postbridge’s Jed Watson. In the open driving Jed was first with his dog Cap with 85 points and second with Taff on 85; third, Ray Edwards, Chumleigh, with Bob, 83; fourth, Norman Delgarno, Tregony, with Roy, 79.

The winner of the Brace was Trevor Hopper of Veryan with Tweed and Bess, on 87pts; second, Ian Mackay, Lustleigh, with Slip and Lyn on 56.

In the West Country Driving Championship at Brentor Sunday Jed Watston won with Jake on 97 points. Second, David Kennard with Fly, 95; third Merrill Fox from Dorchester, with Bob, 94; fourth, Ray Edwards with Bill 91; fifth Jed Watson, with Taff, 90.
