TAVISTOCK continued their winning streak. The game started competitively and fast-paced with both teams fully committed to the cause.

After a dominant start, Tavistock made their possession count with a long ball from goalkeeper Gemma Small being capitalised by Striker Sarah Martin, who poked the ball into the back of the net.

Tavistock's defence remained solid throughout the first half with Carleigh Bammens, Chelsea Starbuck, Laura Phillip and Tania Coker working hard to keep the Torquay side at bay.

In the second half, Plainmoor came out more determined but Tavistock's midfield and defence remained strong.

Midway through the second half, Tavistock doubled  their lead after an accurate through ball from Donna Hone was met by Becky Turner who rounded the keeper and  cooly slotted home.

Plainmoor gained a consolation goal in the final few minutes, but Tavistock held on for the win.
