TAVYSIDE Badminton in Tavistock is working towards becoming an ‘inclusive badminton club’.

Two members of the Tavyside Badminton coaching team, Celine Conley and Alan Berry, recently completed a social model approach workshop run by the Turning Tides Project. The workshop looks at working with and alongside people labelled as being disabled.

Much of the workshop was led by people labelled as being disabled and the Tavyside Badminton Coaching Team will benefit from hearing ideas and thoughts directly from them.

Those new to the sport can also borrow rackets.
