BERE Alston started brightly with Follet causing problems down the right wing and the visitors had two good chances to open the scoring.

Hire came back to dominate the rest of the half with Rob Allen and Will Pike missing from eight yards out.

Tavistock Hire started the second half strongly and scored when a good cross from the right found Dave Wilkinson who headed home from the six yards. They added a second when Jamie Row from ten yards out smashed the ball into the corner of the net. Hire passed the ball around but with ten minutes to go Bere piled forward and nearly scored when Ross Hann curled a free kick towards the top corner only for Shaun Maloney to tip the ball over.

Tavistock Hire move back to the top of the table.
