THE members of the Okehampton Ladies Netball League held their annual meeting and presentation evening at Okehampton Rugby Club.

Chair Hilary Lee thanked all the players, umpires and committee members for making this another good season with an excellent standard of netball being played. She went on to praise the youngsters of the league who had conducted themselves well both in playing and umpiring.

Hilary gave acknowledgement to Angela Herrod Taylor and the rest of the Junior League committee who had stepped down this year after eight years running the league. It was felt that the youngsters had learnt a lot from the junior league which in turn had benefitted the ladies league.

She wished the incoming junior league committee continued success.
