Brixham Villa ladies 0

Tavistock CFC ladies 0

THE game started evenly but with Tavistock soon the first team to have a shot at goal with the visitors working hard.

Tavistock's defence were kept on their toes with the Brixham attackers trying to break through, but remained unsuccessful due to the great work from Carleigh Bammens, Robyn Hammond, Chelsea Starbuck and Tania Coker.

Throughout the first half Tavistock's strikers Sarah Blowey and Sarah Martin kept working the Brixham defence, with Tavistock's midfield Becky McMullin (their player of the match), Donna Weeks, Kirsty Jones and Donna Hone working tirelessly to get the ball into the box but it unfortunately did not go the visitors' way.

The second half remained the same with  Tavistock doing their best to get the three points. The fresh legs of Laura Phillip, Lauren Schuttkacker and Anja Specht worked in Tavistock's favour to maintain most of the possession.

Brixham broke through a couple of times but any danger was easily handled by goalkeeper Zoe Stock.

It became frantic towards the end, with Brixham hitting the woodwork and TCFC missing several more opportunities.

Each Tavistock player worked hard to maintain their unbeaten run.
