AFTER a very successful 2016, women’s artistic gymnast Ruby Stacey from Tavistock has been selected to be part of the 2017 National Talent Squad. 

Throughout 2017 Ruby will attend weekend training squads at Lilleshall where she will train with some of the best GB gymnasts and coaches. 

Ruby’s first competition this year is in April when she will compete in the English Gymnastic competition at Loughborough University. Later that month she will travel to Stoke-on-Trent to compete in the level one compulsory competition, the highest level competition for her age group. 

If Ruby is successful she will qualify to compete in the British Espoir Championship in December.

Ruby continues to train at Plymouth Swallows Gymnastic Club.
